Lynnwood Boler

While searching through some old photos we found this unpublished image showing a “big” 17 foot Boler (when designed Canada still used the Imperial system). Well, we’ll have to fix that and post it. This example was found in the Calgary Community of Lynnwood way back in October of 2013.

Many large Bolers – large, haha – but they are bigger their more common 13 foot brethren – are done up with stripes. These ones are different however and are the first of this arrangement we’ve seen.

Speaking of which, while the 13 foot Bolers could be had in a multitude of often loud and bright (and very retro) colours, usually two-toned, the 17 foot models were almost always tan or white overall. Why the larger ones were not more brightly done up is not known.

Hou van je Boler, liefdesleven.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. Very collectible and a we make a fun game spotting them on road trips.
