Proof that 1910 concrete was far superior to current concrete…nothing like a 108 year old sidewalk block that looks like it could have been poured this summer.
It was hit or miss with concrete then. Here it was clearly a hit. Yes, it looks in great shape.

lol I live right near this and have walked over it several times. I wonder if the cement workers looked down at the finished product and thought, “Oh shit”.

There is a few more in that area around Crescent
Road,at one time they were a lot of named streets.
I’ve seen an old map showing the streets when they were named. Interesting.
