Linclon Ave Calgary

A century old spelling mistook.

Ƨeventh Ave NW Calgary

And anothor…

Sidewalk from 1913

Lincoln (or Linclon) became Seventh (or Ƨeventh) Ave NW in 1913.

    Proof that 1910 concrete was far superior to current concrete…nothing like a 108 year old sidewalk block that looks like it could have been poured this summer.

    lol I live right near this and have walked over it several times. I wonder if the cement workers looked down at the finished product and thought, “Oh shit”.

    Nice find,the secret is out about Cresent Heights 😉
    There is a few more in that area around Crescent
    Road,at one time they were a lot of named streets.
