Egg on wheels

After looking at this Boler, it’ll be clear why many people refer to them as eggs on wheels, especially so if coloured white, as this example is. You’d lose it in a snowstorm for sure and looks how it blends so well into the featureless sky behind. It was spotted in the neighbourhood of South Calgary, very near Marda Loop, in December of 2014.

Interesting fact: the history of the Boler company is so absolutely convoluted that no really knows when the last example was made. Some experts claim the late 1970s, others the early 1980s and others still the latter part of that decade.
