A plain old Trillium

Of all the tiny fibreglass trailers, and there are many types of many different makes, the plain old Trillium is by far the most often seen. In production starting the early 1970s and still being made today (in Calgary Alberta), there are a good number on the road at any one time. One a long summer weekend you’re almost guaranteed to see a few at least. Still, compared to all big trailers out there, they’re not that commonplace. Spotting one is still a noteworthy event…well for us anyway. We’re sort of obsessed you know.

This Trillium was seen in Calgary in May of 2015 and given it was late on a Sunday, it was no doubt heading home after a nice few days spent camping.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on road trips and our other adventures. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance or in configuration to Bolers.
