Chain-link Boler

What’s that? The hard-to-see but clearly unmistakable outline of a Boler through a chain-link fence and hedges? Yes, it is! This find, one well hidden behind an industrial building, out of view from any road and generally speaking something that would be most difficult to see. Yet, we found it. Chalk another one up for Boler-radar, the unique ability to spot these little trailers and their kin using tiny almost insignificant little views and clues, or sometimes even just by “feel” alone. Like the Shining, only for tiny fibreglass trailers.

This example was found, way back in July 2015 (gosh we’re behind) in the community of Didsbury Alberta. It was one of two found in the town, this one being a more common thirteen foot model.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on our road trips adventures.
