Not a Boler – just a Trillium

Often seen from a distance, what we initially think is a Boler turns out to be Trillium – like this cold little trailer seen in a storage yard in Black Diamond Alberta. This is a more modern example from that maker, called the Trillium Outback, which has a Boler-like feature not seen on the older models – that rounded window – it’s square on earlier ones. However, every Trillium still has the rectangle shaped tail lights and this is an easy way to spot them. Many of the newer examples also seem to have the factory installed awning like seen on this one, a feature a Boler never had (unless retrofitted).

This trailer was spotted in December 2012.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. Very collectible and a we make a fun game spotting them on road trips. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance to Bolers.
