Streetview Boler
The location of this Boler was submitted by a reader of this blog and this person took up my challenge to find one of these trailers using Google Streetview. Essentially, one travels around randomly on their computer using Google Streetview, until they spot one. Try to find one yourself, it’s not easy and because of this it’s only the second found by this method. The first was spotted by yours truly a few months ago.
This is one the larger 17′ models, which we’ve been seeing a lot of lately. Way more than in previous years in fact. It looks to be in pristine condition too.
To confirm its existence (the Streetview images dated from 2009) we visited the location and photographed the trailer in person. It was seen out on the street, hitched to a car and perhaps ready for a fun weekend. Spotted in Calgary in May 2013.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. Very collectible and a we make a fun game spotting them on road trips.

We are in Renfrew with ours!
It seems like Calgary has a lot of Bolers! We have ours plus two others in our neighbourhood (in SW Calgary).
