Duct tape Boler

This Boler, held together in places with liberal amounts of duct tape, could perhaps use a little TLC. A 17′ model, which we have been seeing a lot of lately, it looks a little rough around the edges but is probably not that bad off. The beauty of a Boler is that are fairly easy to fix and maintain.

This trailer was seen in May 2013 in Beiseker Alberta.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. Very collectible and a we make a fun game spotting them on road trips.

That actually was my Grandfather’s trailer. It sat out in his farmyard near Granum, Alberta for nearly 20 years.

My sister took it camping, though, a few years ago… and there, it had an unfortunate meeting with a bad thunderstorm – and a tree. Thus the duct tape.

Ahhhh, that helps explain it. It’s nice to know a bit of history about that trailer too.
