Hidden Boler

As is often the case we discover many Bolers completely by chance. We’ll be driving somewhere and out of the corner of our eyes we’ll see one, perhaps tucked away in an alley or in a back yard. And this is exactly what happened here and while driving around Coleman Alberta, trying to get close to the train tracks to watch passing freight, we came across this one. This proves how powerful our Boler-radar is and while this trailer is almost completely hidden by another vehicle, we both easily spotted it.

This Boler was seen in June 2013 in the historic Crowsnest Pass. This area is, by the way, seems to be home to a high number of these little trailers and it’s almost guaranteed we’ll find one when out exploring the area or passing through.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. Very collectible and a we make a fun game spotting them on road trips.
