Field BC Bolers

We spotted not one but two Boler trailers in the quaint mountain village of Field BC. Just blocks apart (the town is only a few blocks square), both are the less common and less cute (IMO) 17 foot models. While you’ll often see the original 13 foot Boler in a variety of factory colour schemes, it seems that most of the larger ones like these, were painted as seen here, in a base colour of tan or brown with brown, orange or yellow stripes around the belt line.

Small Bolers had either a modest sized metal plate or sticker proclaiming the maker’s name. The larger ones are often seen with the Boler name displayed in huge letters on the front window cover.

These two are the 48th and 49th Bolers we’ve spotted in 2013 and were seen in October. If we stumble across even one more we’ll break our record for a single year.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. Very collectible and a we make a fun game spotting them on road trips.
