Two Bolers, one Ventura

Keeping two 17′ Bolers company is a rather rare beast, the first we’ve ever seen of this make. Boler like in proportions, construction and cuteness but not shape – it’s too square – we are talking about a little trailer called a Ventura. Think of it as a boxy Boler.

These were manufactured in Manitoba in the 1970s, that much we know, but other information about the company who made them is lacking. Given it’s the first we’ve ever seen, based on that alone I’d say these are rather uncommon.

All of these were spotted in June 2014, in Calgary, and were found at what appears to be a trailer and RV repair shop. Not noticed when we shot the photo is a cool low-profile motor home seen in back. I’ll make efforts to return to check it out.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. Very collectible and a we make a fun game spotting them on road trips. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance to Bolers.
