The Silver Bullet

We’ve been so busy lately that we’ve neglected the Boler category for a while. Let’s get back in the swing of things…

Seen here is a seventeen foot model, the “Silver Bullet”, all done up in a gray-ish metallic looking paint job, and spotted in the Calgary community of Lynnwood in March 2015. This location is only steps away from the notorious neighbourhood of Lynnview Ridge, once the site of an oil refinery and whose soil was so contaminated that the houses that were later built there had to be torn down.

This “large” Boler has a recessed door which does not seem to appear on all models of this size. Why two versions and the story behind them is not known.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on road trips.
