Crowsnest Boler

Proof that Boler-radar, that uncanny sense, something akin to the “force” that tells one a Boler is in the area even if unseen or mostly so, is strong stuff folks. Take in this one, a Boler well set back from our position, so far a 500mm lens did little compress the space and near out of sight, this here find. One hard find. We FELT it, behind us, well off there a click or so away. Turn around, there it is! Over there.

Now that’s some powerful mojo. Sitting in the parking lot of a golf course, easily overlooked, this little thirteen foot Boler. That’s a bonus for difficulty! And we weren’t even in Boler mode! The date here is June 2016. So long ago.

This little trailer was captured while we shot the series below, an old metal yard chocked full of old trucks and machinery, a special place we’d be eyeing up for some time. It was cool to check it out!

The Boler was spotted while capturing this series…
Crowsnest Collection – Round 1.
Crowsnest Collection – Second Helping.
Crowsnest Collection – Finale.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on our road trips adventures. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.

LOL I am now always on the lookout for Bolers too. Soon enough it will be Boler season and they will be out an about and easier to spot!!

    • Someone’s got the bug! In the winter roaming back alleys will almost always turn up a Boler waiting for spring. That’s how we get our fix in these colder months.
