Tiny Ventura

Our world’s magically populated with small fibreglass trailers (call it an obsession) and more pee-wee than most it’s the make seen here. We’re looking at a tiny Ventura made in Manitoba in the 1970s and given we’ve seen only a few tells us they’re not terribly common. It appears both thirteen foot and shorter (and seemingly less common) ten foot models were made with this one being the latter. It’s sure a squat unit.

Production was said to run from 1972-1977 although we’ve seen ads selling ones said to be built after that date. Perhaps an error? Looking around, it would seem Venturas from the 1973-1975 period are most common. We found this example in a Calgary alley and a completely random find (the best kind). I guess the boot is so no one makes off with it but given it’s compact form, one could easily slip it in their pocket instead.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on road trips and adventures. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers that are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.

A Boler in comparison would almost look huge.
