Boler & Puma

Presenting two camping trailers from two different eras and side by side. The first is a modern example outside our field of interest and the second, something we’re hopelessly obsessed with. You guessed it, the latter’s a member of Boler fraternity and day or night, they’re on our mind.

The Puma’s perhaps a dozen years old, where as the Boler, a 17 foot (5.2-ish metres) is from the late 1970s. We can tell this by its appearance. This one is still in factory colours and with factory lettering and it seems this combo was prevalent in 1978-1979.

This find goes back to the fall of 2020 and discovered by chance, while out for a walk in Didsbury Alberta. It wasn’t the only one we saw this day, either, and we’ll post about the second soon enough. It was a beautiful and crisp fall day and Bolers made it all the better.

From the same card dump…
West Bragg Creek Trails: Call Me, Bluebird Motel Claresholm and Last Houses in Victoria Park.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass camping trailer made in Canada in the 1960s to 1980s and we make a fun game spotting them on road trips or adventures. We’ll also include similar trailers from other manufacturers that are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.
